Final winter cutting of hedges is now underway at Oakfield Wood Natural Woodland Burial Ground, in preparation for the spring and allowing the birds to nest from March to September without being disturbed.

All trees are planted and we are up to date with all interments.

When Spring arrives our next task will be to conduct maintenance on the tracks and parking areas. The ongoing care and maintenance of the woodland ensures that it always offers a beautifully serene setting for everyone visiting, whether you are visiting a loved one or enjoying the nature and abundant wildlife that the woodland supports.

Our woodland burial grounds are protected by the Essex Wildlife Trust and so offer permanent resting places that will forever remain completely undisturbed. Full or Ashes Interments include the planting of a Tree and a Plaque of Remembrance.
